Lansing High School Cheerleaders Have Outstanding Showing at NCA Camp!
Our Lansing High School cheerleading squad had an outstanding showing at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Camp on June 27 – 30th in Topeka, Kansas. Our team received the following accolades:
- Superior Ribbon Game Day Cheer
- Superior Ribbon Chant
- Excellent Ribbon Band Chant
- Technical Excellence Jumps
- Top Team Game Day Cheer (Small Varsity)
- 9 All American Nominees
- National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS) Squad Credentialing
- National Championship Bid
"The Cheerleaders have overcome any obstacles they faced and they work very well as a team," said LHS Head Cheer Coach, Mrs. Amber Bollin. "We are all excited for the season to begin."
Assistant cheerleading coach, Wykeya Taylor, was also incredibly proud of the girls' performances:
"The Cheerleaders have shown both growth and stamina! They have overcome obstacles and come to prove they are stronger together and building greatness as a team. This year will be the best one yet!"
