Ms. Maeve Bolin Holds Second Annual AP Literature - Membean Food Celebration
Students in Ms. Maeve Bolin's AP Literature class competed in the Second Annual AP Literature - Membean Food Celebration on Wednesday, May 11th, in Pride Rock. Students brought Membean-themed dishes and completed recipe cards with descriptions of their food creations, incorporating as many Membean vocabulary words as possible. Membean is a vocabulary program that manages a differentiated learning pace so that students master and reinforce large numbers of words.
Judges Ms. Julie Hinckley (Gifted Facilitator), Mr. Miles Azzeh (Director of Teaching and Learning), and Ms. Sharon Burns (Director of Communications & Marketing) chose winners in two categories - Most Creative Use of Membean Words and Best Presentation. First-place winners received a small prize.
