Congratulations to Seniors AJ Escalante and Julia Nauman For Being Named 2022 Kansas Governor's Scholars
Lansing USD469 is pleased to announce that Seniors AJ Escalante and Julie Nauman are 2022 Governor's Scholars Recipients!
The Governor’s Scholars Program has recognized outstanding graduating seniors who finished in the top one percent of their high school graduating class for the past 39 years.
The pair were honored at the Thirty-Ninth Annual Governor's Scholars Award Program in Topeka on Sunday, May 1, 2022. A total of 540 students were recognized across the state of Kansas.
This event is sponsored and financed through the efforts of the Confidence in Kansas Public Education Task Force. The Confidence in Kansas Public Education Task Force was formed 30 years ago to strengthen public confidence in education.
