Lansing Second-Graders Celebrate Earth Day by Planting Flowers and Beautifying Lansing Elementary School
Lansing Elementary second-grade students and teachers had fun beautifying the school while learning about Earth Day on Friday, April 22, 2022.
Ms. Eilderts's and Mrs. Robinson's classes revamped the small flower beds outside the second-grade doors and cleaned up the existing flower beds. Ms. Taylor's and Mrs. Lynn's classes planted new flowers in planters and placed them by the pillars just outside the front office. Ms. Mulford's, Croley's, Mullins's, and Sander's classes planted flowers in planters and placed them in the front corners of the large flower beds outside the front office and at the Lansing District Office.
A huge thank you goes to all the parents who donated the flowers, planters, and dirt for this project and to the teachers and students who worked hard to beautify our school! We appreciate you!
HAPPY EARTH DAY, LANSING!
