Lansing High School Band Performs at Disney World in Orlando over Spring Break
The Lansing High School Band traveled to Orlando to perform in the Magic Kingdom evening parade over spring break. A total of 124 students were selected to perform, and students were selected through an audition process that required them to submit a video performance and letters of recommendation.
While in Florida, the group visited Medieval Times, Universal Studios, and Disney World.
"The directors are not only very proud of our Marching Lions' performance but also how they represented Lansing in such a positive way," said Mr. Aaron Edwards. "During the entire trip, we saw happy, smiling students making memories with their friends. The students had a great time and made memories that will last a lifetime."
The directors also want to thank the parent chaperones that helped during the trip.
