Lansing USD 469 Autism Intervention Team Wins February Drawing
The Lansing School District - Autism Intervention Team (AIT), chaired by Dr. Malcolm - Assistant Director of Special Education, conducts evaluations on students suspected of having autism. The Autism Intervention Team can recommend an educational diagnosis of autism. Each month data is submitted on the number of in-services provided to staff, screening completed on students, training sessions conducted, consultations at IEP meetings, and educational support provided to schools. Each month, the Kansas Technical Assistance System Network (TASN) holds a data drawing for schools that promptly submit their data. Lansing USD 469 won $100 in the drawing for February.
