LV Arts, a non-profit created by Lansing High School Teacher Michaela Fitzgerald, is excited to hold their first Test Kitchen Competition on January 29, 2022. There are only a few spots open in the 7-12th grade age division, so register now for your chance to compete!

Test Kitchen Competition
What: Do you LOVE to watch food competitions on TV? Here is your chance to be a part of the fun!
LV Arts and Lansing High School are partnering to provide a fun "test-kitchen" where Lansing students will go head-to-head to prepare sweet treats for a panel of judges.
- Competition participants must be students of the Lansing School District (USD 469)
- Students will compete on a team of two. Choose a partner or one can be assigned on the day of the competition.
- Two separate divisions: 2nd-6th grade (FULL) and 7th-12th grade (FEW SPOTS STILL OPEN)
- Scoring will be based on Kansas State Standards for Culinary and Visual Arts
- Winners will receive a special prize from a local vendor!
Where: Lansing High School Culinary Arts Room (Enter through the activities entrance)
* One chaperone allowed per student
When: January 29, 2022
- 2nd-6th grade: 2:00-3:30
- 7th-12th grade: 4:00-6:00
(Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes in advance of the start time)
