Lansing Early Childhood Hosts Flurries of Fun Parent Engagement Night (VIDEO)
Lansing Early Childhood hosted a Flurries of Fun parent engagement night on December 1, 2021. Children received a passport to visit classrooms and participate in fun activities. The children and their families had fun decorating a holiday cookie to eat, making ornaments, countdown calendars, and snowball catapults. Students had fun making a take-home book of The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats.
Catapult was not a word they understood, but "snowball launcher" made perfect sense, and fun was had by all. Lansing Parents As Teachers and Tiny-K Early Intervention representatives were also there with giveaways, information, and a craft. At the end of the evening, the children left with a brown bag dinner. We had over 24 families in attendance, with more than 50 children participating.
