Pumpkin Patch Comes to Early Childhood!
Early Child had their very own pumpkin patch come to them on Thursday, October 14th! Our local Lamborn Farm donated 45 pumpkins, and Kerby Farms of Bonner Springs donated 45 pumpkins. Each child got to visit our “pumpkin patch” and choose their very own pumpkin! The Lansing Early Childhood team was very thankful to receive a donation of almost 100 pumpkins!
The team at Lamborn farm was very excited to support an in-house pumpkin patch for our students, and they look forward to collaborating with Lansing Early Childhood again in the future.
Jessica Garner, a second-year teacher at Lansing, took the lead to create this day for all the early childhood classes. With the help of her support team member, Davi Norwood, they contacted the farms and picked up the pumpkins. Davi Norwood and her family donated hay bales and fall décor to add a little bit of pumpkin spice to the pumpkin patch.
