Lansing USD 469 Welcomes Mr. Miles Azzeh as Director of Teaching and Learning
Congratulations to Mr. Miles Azzeh for being named Director of Teaching and Learning for the Lansing School District. Mr. Azzeh has spent the last two years as the secondary instructional coach for Piper School District (USD 203) and previously served as an instructional coach in the Kansas City Kansas School District (USD 500). Mr. Azzeh holds masters degrees in school leadership and Literature from Baker University and is embarking on his 12th year in education.
Mr. Azzeh started his career teaching high school English and Social Studies for Washington High School (KCKPS). After earning his master’s degree in Literature, he began as an adjunct instructor in the evenings and online for Kansas City Kansas Community College and Donnelly College.
Mr. Azzeh has served on a a variety of different committees and councils at the building and district level, has assisted in the creation of district-wide curriculum mapping, and has helped teacher-teams establish effective PLCs (Professional Learning Communities). He is excited to bring his knowledge of pedagogy and instruction to the Lansing School District.
As Director of Teaching and Learning, Mr. Azzeh will oversee curriculum, professional development, and will help develop instructional strategies for Lansing USD 469.
