High Schoolers Use Water Bottle Rockets to Learn Quadratic Functions (VIDEO)
Lansing High School Algebra students are finishing their unit on Quadratic functions this week in Mr. Wiltse and Mrs. Lang's classes. To demonstrate the real world application of Quadratic equations, Mr. Wiltse and Mrs. Lang had their students make water bottle rockets. After launching their rockets, students used their knowledge of parabolas and projectiles to find the velocity and maximum height of their rockets.
Great work Mr. Wiltse, Mrs. Lang, and students!
