More Information Regarding Teacher Collaboration Day on Friday, April 9th
As a reminder, Friday, April 9, 2021 will be a teacher collaboration day due to Kansas Legislature Bill 63, which was approved by Governor Kelly on Monday, April 5, 2021. Senate Bill 63 "enacts the back to school act to require school districts to provide a full-time, in person attendance option for all students beginning March 31, 2021, for school year 2020-2021."
A few notes regarding April 9, 2021:
- Building administrators will be emailing via Skyward what this day will look like for your student(s).
- There will be no lunch deliveries made.
- Early Childhood will have school as usual.
- There will be a few students in the buildings or expected to have virtual learning on Friday, but only those that have been scheduled for individualized learning and/or testing.
The Lansing USD 469 School Board will vote to finalize the school schedule for the rest of the year at the April 12, 2021 regular meeting. We will be communicating the schedule for the rest of the school year next week. Watch this website and get the app for up-to-date information.
