Friday, April 9th Will be a Teacher Collaboration Day - THERE WILL BE NO REMOTE SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS
Due to Kansas Legislature Senate Bill 63, Lansing USD 469 will have a teacher collaboration day on Friday, April 9, 2021, and there will be no remote learning for students.
Senate Bill 63 "enacts the back to school act to require school districts to provide a full-time, in person attendance option for all students beginning March 31, 2021, for school year 2020-2021." Teachers and administrators will use the teacher collaboration day to plan for the upcoming required schedule change.
The Lansing USD 469 School Board will vote to finalize the school schedule for the rest of the year at the April 12, 2021 regular meeting. There will be no lunch deliveries on April 9, 2021. We will be communicating more information about what the five-day in person option will look like for our teachers and students in the near future.
