Vaccination Clinic Update from Leavenworth County Health Department
The Leavenworth County Health Department has moved to Phases 1 through 4 following the Kansas State Vaccination Plan.
Anyone that qualifies for these phases, and is a county resident, may receive the vaccine.
The health department is conducting mass walk-in vaccine clinics weekly, therefore:
- Appointments are not going to be scheduled moving forward. Those meeting the phases will be able to walk in during hours of operations.
- Clinic dates and times will be posted weekly.
- You will be given the date to return for your second dose at the clinic.
This week’s clinic will be held Thursday, March 25th, 9 AM – 4 PM, or until vaccinations run out. The clinic will be at the Riverfront Community Center, 123 Esplanade, Leavenworth, KS.
Please do not call. The Leavenworth County Health Department does not have the capacity to return phone calls regarding vaccine clinics. Please refer to the county webpage and social media sites for information on vaccine clinics.
Please bring photo identification with you to your appointment time. The vaccine is given in the deltoid muscle (upper shoulder), so please wear clothing to allow for easy access to this area.
Download the Vaccine Consent Form and have it filled out prior to your visit, and bring it with you to help expedite your experience. Forms will be available at the clinic site if you are not able to print them.
