Political Rallies on School Property
On Sunday, October 25, Lansing High School parking lot was used for a staging area for a political parade. This parade was not approved by Lansing School District, as political rallies of any sort are not considered an acceptable use of school property.
Any political event or rally supporting one candidate or another on district property is strictly prohibited by Lansing School District.
Lansing School District also has a Facility Use Process, which requires individuals or organizations to fill out a Facility Use Request at least ten days prior to any event or function. Click here for the Facility Use Request application.
