Lansing High School Students Have Fun While Learning in Their KCKCC Pioneer Center's CNA Program Labs
Lansing High School students, D’Asia Moir and Tamara White, learned about transferring patients from a sitting position to a different chair during their CNA labs through KCKCC Pioneer Center last week. D'Asia and Tamara secured a gait belt around the patients waist, learned placement of their feet for balance, then lifted and pivoted their patient to a chair.
The CNA Program through KCKCC is part of their Health Careers program, where students learn basic nursing care skills and concepts neeed for the student to function as a nurse's aid.
Well done, Miss Moir and Miss White!
