Welcome to the first ever Lansing District Virtual Art Showcase!
The Lansing District Art Showcase, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 18th has turned virtual this year, thanks to the help of our extraordinary Lansing USD 469 art teachers. After collecting pieces of art all school year, it would have been a shame to not showcase the work in some way. Thank you to Superintendent Dan Wessel for allowing the teachers to safely enter their buildings in April to take photographs of a select number of pieces to be featured online.
Although this is the sixth year for the district to showcase the work of our incredible student artists, this is the first year it has went virtual. The art showcase is organized by Lansing Educational Foundation and normally takes place at Lansing High School in hopes of raising money for the art departments in the Lansing School District. If you would like to donate to the Lansing USD 469 art departments, you may do so through Lansing Educational Foundation. For ways to give, click here. If donating through Paypal, be sure to include "Lansing Art Departments" in the note on Paypal.
