Congratulations to our newly appointed Lansing USD 469 School Board Member, Cheryl Runnebaum
A huge congratulations to Cheryl Runnebaum for being appointed to the Lansing USD 469 School Board at the April 6th special open Board of Education meeting via Zoom. Ms. Runnebaum was selected by current Lansing USD 469 board members Beth Stevenson, John Dalbey, John Hattok, Michelle McQuillan, Pete Robinson, and Aaron Yoakam with a vote of 6-0. She will be filling the vacancy left by Debbie Deere and will hold the position until the next school board election in 2021. At that time, voters will select a candidate to serve the remainder of the unexpired term.
Ms. Runnebaum has a wealth of educational experience, having taught for 18 years at the high school and post-secondary level and is currently the Dean of Career and Technical Education at Kansas City Kansas Community College. To view her candidate questionnaire, click here.
