Lansing High School Boys Swim Team has outstanding showing at KSHSAA Championships
The KSHSAA State Boys Swim Championships were held February 21st and 22nd at the Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka, Kansas. Lansing High School took 13th place overall with its highest placing in school history. The 200-yard medley relay team of Mike Bresser, Vianney Verzola, Greyson Walker, and Antonio DePaolis finished 12th. Greyson Walker made the podium twice in individual events with new school records. He placed third in the 50-yard freestyle and second in the 100-yard freestyle, the highest individual state finish in program history. Walker was also named 1st team All-State. The 200-yard free relay team of Nathan Spickelmier, Vianney Verzola, Antonio DePaolis, and Greyson Walker took fifth with a new school record and the highest placing relay in school history. The 400-free relay team of Nathan Spickelmier, Levi Francis, Jakob Blackwell, and Antonio Depaolis finished 18th.
