Lansing High School KAYS and NHS students hold "Cocoa and Cram" on December 17th
Lansing High School students participated in the first "Cocoa and Cram" session after school on Tuesday, December 17th. The event was put on by Kansas Association of Youth (KAYS) and National Honor Society (NHS) students and was held in the commons at Lansing High School. Lower classmen were paired up with upper classmen, who gave them study tips and helped with any harder subjects that students needed help with.
"A lot of these younger students haven't developed good study skills yet," said Ms. Megan Johnson. "This event gave the freshmen the opportunity to learn from their peers and a chance to blow off steam before finals."
Lansing School District wishes all students good luck during finals week - your hard work will soon pay off!
