Annual Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony - December 1st at Lansing Middle School Auditorium
Join Lansing Mayor Mike Smith at 6 p.m. on Sun., Dec. 1 for the 33rd Annual Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting at the Lansing Middle School auditorium, 220 Lion Lane. There will be performance by the kids of A Deere Place, Katie’s Dance Studio, and Lansing High School Legacy Singers (formerly Sound Spectrum). The Mayor will recognize invited guests, accept donations and ask everyone to sing traditional carols while watching the lighting ceremony.
Those wishing to donate to the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Program can bring donations to the ceremony. Monetary donations are tax deductible through the “Friends of Lansing” non-profit group. Private individuals, civic organizations and businesses are encouraged to participate in the fund drive.
