Lansing Elementary holds surprise parade to cheer on Lansing High School softball team as they head to state!
The Lansing High School softball team qualified to state for the first time in ten years. Coach Rachel Milnark had originally planned to have her players do a parade around the elementary school before leaving. Due to their travel schedule, they were unable to make it work.
Thankfully, the staff of Lansing Elementary School came to the rescue and planned a surprise drive by parade through the parking lot before the girls left for the state competition in Maize, Kansas the morning of May 22nd.
Good luck to the girls competing this weekend and thank you to the elementary school students and staff for their support!
