The 2019 Lansing Educational Foundation's award breakfast was a tremendous success on Friday, May 3rd with over 600 teachers, students, and community members in attendance. Attendees had the honor of hearing our speaker, Captain Sean R. Bailey, talk about growing up in the Lansing School District and his accomplishments in the United States Navy. The foundation holds this event each year to recognize our high achieving students, Educate the Pride teacher grantees, USD 469 Teachers and of the Year, USD 469 Educational Support Staff of the Year, and the Lifetime Educational Achievement Award Recipient. This year's award winners are as follows:
- Lisa Gorski, Educational Support Professional of the Year
- Cindy Rozalski, Educational Support Professional of the Year
- Patti Boe-Cackler, Elementary Teacher of the Year
- Megan Bone, Secondary Teacher of the Year
- Joe and Norma Hoagland, Lifetime Educational Achievement Award Recipients

The following students were awarded for achieving the highest scores on 2017-2018 PSAT, ACT, and State Assessments:
