Teaching and Learning with Miles Azzeh

Before joining our district in July 2021, our Director of Teaching & Learning, Mr. Miles Azzeh spent two years as the secondary instructional coach for Piper School District (USD 203). He also served as an instructional coach in the Kansas City Kansas School District (USD 500). Mr. Azzeh holds master's degrees in school leadership and Literature from Baker University and is embarking on his 12th year in education. 

Mr. Azzeh started his career teaching high school English and Social Studies for Washington High School (KCKPS). After earning his master's degree in Literature, he began as an adjunct instructor in the evenings and online for Kansas City Kansas Community College and Donnelly College.

Mr. Azzeh has served on various committees and councils at the building/district level, assisted in creating district-wide curriculum mapping, and helped teacher-teams establish effective PLCs (Professional Learning Communities). He is excited to bring his knowledge of pedagogy and instruction to the Lansing School District.


As Director of Teaching and Learning for Lansing USD 469, Mr. Azzeh oversees curriculum and professional development and helps develop instructional strategies for Lansing USD 469.
