Lansing USD469 launched new initiative during the 2023-2024 school year that invites parents, grandparents, and community members to experience a day in the life of our dedicated staff members. This unique volunteering opportunity allows individuals to experience the daily routines of one of our schools, engaging in various activities alongside our students and staff. 

What to Expect:

Volunteers will shadow a student's schedule, participate in lunch duty, supervise recess, and assist with car line pickup and drop off. This hands-on approach provides a firsthand look at our staff's daily responsibilities.

Eligibility:

To ensure the safety of our students, all volunteers must pass a background check before participating. 

How to Sign Up:

Please fill out our Google Form via the link below to express your interest. The form will collect essential information and preferences to help us match you with an appropriate school and date. Participants will be selected through a lottery system each month.
