The mission of Lansing USD 469 Community Relations is to strengthen relationships between students, teachers, staff, parents and the Leavenworth / Lansing community as a whole by improving communication and creating an atmosphere of trust and cooperation for all.

The Lansing USD 469 Community Relations office strives to highlight the outstanding things happening in our district on a daily basis. This is accomplished by communicating with both internal and external stakeholders via our website, social media, Skyward Student Management system, and our Lansing USD 469 mobile app. The Community Relations department works with print reporters and television stations to share newsworthy stories within our district. The Community Relations office also services on our district crisis team and as a liaison in emergency situations.
