Sign up to renew your membership or to join Pen 'n Paw/NEHS on Friday(8/27), or Monday(8/30) during lunch. Dues are $10 which are due before September 9th. Join with all members September 9th for an ice cream social in room 229 at 3:00 PM. Students who can not meet after school, meet in room 229 at 7:20 AM on September 9th for the early bird meeting.
Also, Sophomores will be receiving invitations to become members of the National English Honor Society very soon. Any student who has attended LHS for at least one full year, has an overall GPA of 3.0 and who has maintained at least a B in all of his/her English classes qualifies for membership. If you have been invited in the past, but have not joined, come participate this year. |

All NEHS members, the next meeting will be held on October 13. Also, don't forget that October 20 is National Writing Day. |
