The FBLA-PBL Mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
FBLA, or Future Business Leaders of America, was founded by Dr. Hamdan L. Forkner in 1937. Three years later, The National Council for Business Education accepted official sponsorship of the organization. Since its foundation, the High School division has gained more than 215,000 members, the Phi-Beta-Lambda (Alumni Division) has gained more than 10,000 members, and the Middle-level division has more than 8,000 members. There are also more than 13,000 local chapters across the nation, Canada, and Department of Defense Schools worldwide.
