APPLICATION FOR OUT OF DISTRICT STUDENTS
Students living outside district boundaries are welcome to apply to attend Lansing School District.
All nonresident students, returning and new, will be evaluated and therefore, admitted or denied depending on grades, attendance, and/or discipline. Consideration will also be based on teacher/student ratio in each building and/or grade level.
The deadline for all out of district applications is September 20th of the current school year.
Notices will be sent to the parents/guardians of the student(s) by mail. The notification of approval or denial can be expected a few days after the Board meeting when the application was presented.
