RETURNING STUDENTS
Late June (date pending), Lansing School District will open Online Registration in Skyward Family Access for returning students. You will be able to update student information, pay fees, request busing, and update forms. Should you have any questions regarding this process, please call the district office at 913-727-1100.
NEW STUDENTS
New Student Registration - July 16, 2013 - 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at Lansing High School for all grades
How to Register New High School Students:
Parents/Guardians please fill out a request form for each student that will be attending Lansing High School.
To enroll for classes, contact the high school at 913-727-3357 and schedule an appointment with the counselors. These appointments will be held in August (exact dates are pending).
Students new to Lansing High School will need to attend the New Student Registration on July 16, 2013 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at Lansing High School. Registration is for obtaining documents, not to enroll in classes. If you are able to attend registration and turn in documents, will have more time to spend with the counselor to discuss class scheduling at your August appointment.
How to Register New Middle School Students:
Parents/Guardians please fill out a request form for each student that will be attending Lansing Middle School.
Students new to Lansing Middle School will need to attend the New Student Registration on July 16, 2013 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at Lansing High School. If you are not able to attend you can go to the middle school the first week in August to enroll. Please review the list of items below that you will need to bring to register your student(s).
How to Register New Elementary School Students:
Parents/Guardians please fill out a request form for each student that will be attending Lansing Elementary School.
Students new to Lansing Elementary School will need to attend the New Student Registration on July 16, 2013 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at Lansing High School. If you were not able to attend you can go to the elementary school the first week in August to enroll. Please review the list of items below that you will need to bring to register your student(s).
Required items:
- Certified birth certificate
- Proof of residency such as a utility bill, home sales contract or lease agreement
- Copy of transcript or report card from previous school
- Immunization records
- Health assessment/physical for students up to the age of nine enrolling at the elementary
Other items not required but may be beneficial:
- IEP or Special testing information
- Sports eligibility information
- Any legal documentation stating guardianship, custody, or general information
