The Lansing School District employs 208 licensed staff, 220 classified staff and 13 administrators. Each attendance center has its own administrative, counseling, nursing and library staff. High quality staff development is essential for creating schools in which all students and staff members are life-long learners. Lansing School District staff is committed to the development and success of every child.
Lansing is located in the northeastern corner of Kansas bordering the Missouri River Valley. The district is approximately 49 square miles and is bounded to the north by the city of Leavenworth and to the east by the Missouri River. In 2007, the City of Lansing was featured in Money Magazine as a top 100 Best Places to live in the United States.
